Large Walnut Coffee Table

This beauty was quite large and heavy, and always resilient. All atop of beefy x-shape legs.

It must have been a huge tree, given the width of it (24" wide), even with all of the sapwood (lighter color), which usually means the slab was cut more from the outside diameter of the log.

The void was made by a pest that had since moved on, filled with soft black epoxy. 

Complete with natural, unique grain patterns.
