BISBEE Collection - Customizable Live Edge Spalted Maple or Ambrosia Maple Wood Floating Shelves

Stunningly unique authentic live edge spalted or wormy/ambrosia maple floating shelves are functional and gorgeous. These natural live edge hardwood maple ledges can also be used as a floating bookshelf or floating mantel. Gorgeous spalting or wormy ambrosia with complementary natural grain coloration of gray and peach.

These wood shelves are custom, handcrafted and made-to-order. The images are just examples of ones we've done! They all have their own beautiful and unique character, and will always be created from kiln dried maple with either spalting or ambrosia, but no two will look the same. If you order multiple shelves in one order, we can create them from the same slab or same tree so they look similar.

🕰 Current time to complete and ship out is 6-8 weeks. We will most likely need every bit of that time. Expedited processing and shipping can be done at additional cost, so please reach out.

How it works:
- Any piece will be approximately 8" - 12" deep. If you need a certain consistent depth, or minimum and maximum, within that range, please leave a note at checkout.
- Any piece will be a thickness of 1.5" - 1.75".
- Choose a length from 12" (1 foot) to 96" (8 feet). 

Reach out if you need a custom length! 
- Voids filled with soft black epoxy.
- Application of low VOC, non-toxic tung oil-based sealer and urethane for a silky smooth matte/satin finish.

➡️ If you need floating shelf brackets provided, you can choose from standard individual brackets or a more user-friendly bracket system with a backplate to help you hit as many studs as possible.
        * Individual brackets:
- Support 30 pounds of weight per stud they're attached to.
- Holes drilled in the back are 16" from each other evenly down the back of the shelf to encourage hitting studs.
- If you need different spacing on the back of the shelves to ensure you hit as many studs as possible, enter these measurements in the personalization box and note where they need to be either from the left or right side of the SHELF, not where your studs land on the wall.
        * Backplate brackets:
- Support 45 pounds of weight per stud they're attached to.
- Back of shelf is routered to allow the backplate to sit in.
- Holes are drilled 12" from each other.

🪵 MANTEL PRICING:
→ If you want thicker than 1.75", pricing is approximately as follows:
- $150 per linear foot for 3" - 4" thick by 8" - 12" depth
- $175 per linear foot for 4" - 5" thick x 8" - 12" depth
